Archery Beginner Courses

Before you can be accepted into a Grand National Archery Society club, you are obliged to have undertaken an Archery Beginner course. This is to ensure that you are taught all aspects of archery safety, use and maintenance of equipment and background information to enhance your enjoyment of the Olympic sport of Archery.

At the Shamba ACE, we have all the facilities to provide beginner courses tailored to your needs. All the equipment you need to shoot in safety will be supplied by us for the duration of the course. The course will run for 18 hours split over a number of days to suit you.

When the beginners’ course is complete, you may want to buy your own equipment to continue archery. We will advise you on suitable equipment, and if you wish, can provide equipment at very competitive prices. We can then either set up your equipment for you or provide archery workshops to teach you how to set up your equipment.

If you decide that archery is the sport for you and you wish to continue archery with a club at the end of the course, we will introduce you to a club in your area and give you all the contact information you require to enjoy the sport in a club environment.
